About Me

Andrew Howard Speech Therapy

I am an American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) member and licensed to practice speech/language pathology in the state of New Jersey. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University and a Master of Science degree from New York Medical College in Speech- Language Pathology. I have also received postgraduate certificates in Motivation and Classroom Management and Inclusive Classroom Teaching from the University of La Verne.

I have extensive work experience providing speech/language services for  the pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. I am currently employed in a public education setting and have several years experience working in Early Intervention for the state of New Jersey along with home care for adult and geriatric clients. Previously, I completed field work in rehabilitation centers, a nursing home, a behavioral health center, and a hospital. I have received training in the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and have several years experience working with students with developmental disabilities. I have previously presented at the New York State Speech-Language Hearing Association Convention. My presentation was about identifying early warning signs for Autism Spectrum Disorders.

I have recently been added to the 2022 Favorite Kids’ Docs List. I am honored to be a part of this list and I sincerely thank everyone who voted.

I am a lifelong resident of New Jersey. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family. I am a fan of the New York Giants, New York Rangers, and New York Knicks. I also enjoy playing softball and reading.

I look forward to working with you and helping you reach your speech therapy goals!
